Sunggyu of hoe hij liever genoemd word, West is een hele normale puberachtige jongen. Hij is vrij zorgzaam en lief maar is aan de andere kant ook snel op zijn teentjes getrapt en chagrijnig of kwaad. West is best wel lui aangelegd en doet ook niet gauw veel meer als minimaal nodig is, tenslotte zit hij hier toch nog wel een tijdje. Ondanks het feit dat hij lui is, is hij wel atletisch en sportief, mede dankzij het feit dat hij dan ook veel sporten beoefend.. West is recht voor de raap en denkt niet áltijd aan de consequenties die zijn woorden mogelijk met zich mee brengen. Verder is hij vrij sarcastisch en lijkt hij vrij saai te zijn. Tóch droomt ook deze jongen van avontuur en spanning in zijn leven, hoewel je dat op het eerste gezicht misschien niet zou zeggen. Verder kun je West omschrijven als lax en ongeïnteresseerd in het leven en wat het leven en mensen te bieden hebben.. Kortom: Lief, soms wat onhandig(wanneer het op romantiek aankomt), uitgesproken, nonchalante maar lieve jongen.
Goede eigenschappen: Recht voor z'n raap, zegt meteen wat in hem opkomt hoewel hij meestal wel rekening houd met de ander. Hij is heel erg behulpzaam hoewel hij dit wel op zijn eigen bescheiden en nonchalante manier doet waardoor het niet altijd evenveel opvalt dat het ook echt van hem af komt, hij is loyaal en geen roddelaar, hij heeft goede manieren en dan met name bij eerste ontmoetingen, daarnaast heeft hij respect voor ouderen.
Slechte eigenschappen: Komt vaak te laat en vergeet veel dingen, hoewel hij doet alsof er dan niets aan de hand is en die andere gewoon te vroeg zijn, lui, hij liegt wel eens , hij heeft de neiging om weg te lopen van ruzies of gesprekken wanneer het hem te veel word of wanneer hij geen interesse of zin meer heeft, , hij is vrij jaloers aangelegd, Hij is licht sarcastisch en plagerig, verder slaat hij zo nu en dan woede (letterlijk) van zich af.

HISTORY
Ever since the beginning of high school the four of them had been friends. Two boys, two girls. They were the greatest of buddies and seldom ever fought. It wasn’t before long that the four split of into couples. Still, they hung out a lot with each other. This continued on way into college and after.
The Lee’s were about 21 when they decided they wanted to have children. This happened in the form of a girl born in the next year. The Kim’s wanted to have children too, but not yet. They decided to have a career first and perhaps in a few years have some children. The two families still visited each other a lot and often went together on daytrips and the like. Even when the Lee’s continued on to have 8 girls in total, they still found time to spend with the other family.
When the Kim’s were 37 they felt that, even though it was quite late, they still wanted to have at least one kid. That same year a healthy boy who they named Sunggyu was born. Having worked ever since they came out of college, they made quite a fortune for themselves and could, thus, give Sunggyu everything he needed and wanted. And even though they still worked a lot, they always made sure that Sunggyu was never alone and always with one of them.
It didn’t really come as a surprise that Sunggyu sometimes turned out to be a bit spoiled, what with all the stuff he got. He usually bragged a lot about being able to do practically anything. In truth, he often had trouble with loads of stuff and had difficulty studying to the point where he just gave up. It often appeared when Sunggyu got back yet another F, that he couldn’t care less. Sunggyu who had always been quite sensitive, though, was usually quite sad about it.
Two years later, Howon was born three weeks premature as the last and only boy out of the nine children in the family. Life was pretty average in the beginning; Howon was a sweet and active baby and toddler and learned how to speak and walk at a normal pace, not any slower or quicker than other children. As Howon grew a bit older, his sisters did as well. It wasn’t particularly uncommon to get teased by them as he was the only boy. Howon wasn’t really bothered by it, though, it wasn’t like they actually meant any of it. Still, at the age of five, he decided to get back at them and began calling his sisters by number. This obviously annoyed them, but they ignored it. Howon still calls his sisters by number even up till today.
Howon’s parents were caring and loving, but stern, especially when it came to studying. Howon has always been a smart boy, though, and learning was never any problem for him. At the age of nine, Howon was first introduced to dancing and he immediately fell in love. His parents didn’t particularly approve; they wanted Howon to focus on school. Howon worked hard, though, and managed to finish all his schoolwork before he went to the dance studio around the corner. Here he probably spent most of his time, up till the point where his sisters had to come late at night to drag him back home.
It was when Sunggyu was twelve and Howon ten when life took a twist. On the way back home from the Lee Family, the Kim family had an accident where a drunk truck driver was swaying from lane to lane and suddenly ran into the front of the car. Sunggyu’s parents were instantly dead, whereas Sunggyu had a long and deep gash running from shoulder to hip. He wasn’t in immediate danger and he was in luck because he was brought to the hospital soon after the accident.
Sunggyu was adopted by the Lee family, as the plan had always been in case if something happened, and he became the tenth child of the family. It didn’t exactly click well at first between Sunggyu and Howon. Howon felt like Sunggyu stole all the attention from his parents and all his sisters seemed to like and treated Sunggyu better than they ever did Howon. It was a year after the accident when this changed. Sadly, through another accident. Howon’s dad, who had been serving the army for about twenty years, was shot during a mission in Afghanistan. Sunggyu always tried to comfort Howon and slowly the two grew close to each other.
Howon, who had always felt more rainbow than ruler got his first boyfriend when he was fifteen. It was quite innocent, they didn’t do more than hold hands, hug each other and perhaps a kiss on the cheek. Still, it had Sunggyu’s blood boiling. How dare the boy hold his brother in his arms, was what went through Sunggyu’s head most of the time. It wasn’t until later that he realized he might feel more for Howon than he dared to admit. Howon on the other hand, broke up with his boyfriend after about a year because he realized that he was in love with Sunggyu.
POWER
Teleportatie. Als West hard over de plek nadenkt van waar hij naar toe wilt gaan kan hij zomaar in het niets verdwijnen en dan ergens weer terecht komen. Hij heeft dit nog niet zo goed onder controle en zit er soms een beetje naast. Zijn zwakke momenten zijn wanneer hij word afgeleid of als hij een hevige emotie voelt. Tot noch toe kan hij maar één iemand met zich meenemen; waarbij de kans is dat hij diegene onderweg ergens ‘verliest’ vrij groot is.
